God of War’s graphics on PC is a topic of interest to many people.
As we reported, on October 21, Sony suddenly confirmed that the blockbuster God of War 2018 will be coming to PC in the near future. Currently, the gaming community can pre-order God of War for VND 1,139,000 on Steam and the game will be officially released on January 15 next year. This is considered the good news of the worldwide PC gaming community when experiencing the best blockbuster of the PlayStation system on their PC.
Shortly after Sony’s announcement that God of War (2018) will be coming to PC, Youtuber Cyclu1 has compiled a video comparing the graphics quality of the PS5 version of God of War with the upcoming PC version. Give the gaming community a first look at the PC version of one of the best blockbusters on the Playstation.
According to developer Santa Monica Studio, the version of God of War for PS5 allows players to choose between two different modes when playing, in which the Original Performance Experience mode allows gamers to play God of War at a higher level. 4K 30FPS resolution while Enhanced Performance mode allows unlocking 60FPS frame rate but still retains 4K resolution. It can be seen that the experience of God of War on PS5 will be of similar quality to the PC version.
Specifically, YouTube channel Cyclu1 posted a video “Early Graphics Comparison” highlighting the difference between the two versions of God of War for PS5 and PC. Viewing the back two doesn’t show much of a difference, although the PC version seems to run a bit smoother in terms of FPS. However, the side-by-side screenshots that Cyclu1 used for the last two-thirds of the comparison video provide more clarity. It shows that the PC version is slightly sharper and the colors also appear to be particularly vibrant.

As Santa Monica Studio stated, the PC version will support GTAO, SSDO & NVIDIA DLSS. Furthermore, it can run in “native” 4K and will have higher resolution shadows than the console version. As always, the PC footage in this first trailer does not represent the quality of the final version. That’s why YouTube Cyclu1 uses the name “Early Graphics Comparison”.
