City building strategy game Cities: Skylines will turn six years old this month. To celebrate the 6th anniversary of its release, the developer Colossal Order announced some daring statistics, in which many player-created cities are inhabited by several dozen times the population of the earth.
The figures have been shared in Paradox Insider latest through bookmark presentation sixth birthday by Cities: Skyline. Some of the interesting stats about the city builder community released are: more than 16 million players have tried Cities: Skylines, over 84 million cities have been created, the in-game population is 432,171,234,270, 61 times the number of people living on earth.

A new community contest was also introduced during the presentation. This is where players challenge their building skills on a predefined map, prizes will be awarded to the three most impressive buildings. One of the many challenges of the competition was to build the Waisenbrücke bridge, the heart of the city of Berlin, on one of three pre-made maps by Jason ‘AmiPolizeiFunk’ Ditmars.
