The International 2 champion Wong “ChuaN” Hook Chuan will return to the Dota 2 arena in the colors of a multinational team called Echo International.
The Echo International roster was registered on the official Dota 2 team data page today. The team includes former OG player Anathan “ana” Pham, Grigoris “Keyser” Kallianiotis, former Immortals offlane Lee “Forev” Sang-don, and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, a member of the TI6 Digital Chaos runner-up team. Notably, on the list is player Park “March” Tae-won, but it is not clear whether he will participate in the competition or not, because the team has already had 5 official members.

This is ChuaN’s first comeback since he retired, leaving Chinese team Vici Gaming last September. ChuaN’s love affair with Vici Gaming ended in just 5 months, when he and his teammates were unable to qualify for any major tournaments at that time. The only LAN tournament they attended was Galaxy Battles, where they were the replacement team for LGD Gaming.
All team members are from different countries, and most of the members have just left their old team. Among the members, ana is the most famous with two Valve Major titles. This also marks ana’s return since he voluntarily left OG after TI7. March is the 6th member to be registered on the team’s FACEIT page. But we don’t know who he will replace, or simply substitute. Forev shared on their stream that they will compete in Southeast Asia.
Echo International’s current lineup:
- Wong “ChuaN” Hook Chuan
- Anathan “ana” Pham
- Grigoris “Keyser” Kallianiotis
- Lee “Forev” Sang-don
- Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
- Park “Martch” Tae-won
