Specifically in an interview with Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita (via VGC), CD Projekt Red president Adam Kiciński talked about Cyberpunk 2077 and reaffirmed his and the studio’s faith in the title despite its problems. Kiciński has stated that it is not Cyberpunk 2077 that will be good, but that it will be “considered a future blockbuster”, despite falling short of expectations even a year after its release.

“We are proud of many aspects of Cyberpunk 2077, although not everything is going our way. However, the brand awareness of the Cyberpunk we’ve built is huge and the game’s universe, characters, and details are loved by fans around the world.
