Capcom reveals new Resident Evil sequel right before Tokyo Game Show

On Twitter Resident EvilYesterday, the publisher revealed to players the latest version of the series – PROJECT RESISTANCE, and announced that it would announce the game’s trailer on September 9. This makes many people feel surprised because Tokyo Game Show will be held right here on September 12, the most prestigious exhibition in the gaming industry that attracts the attention of many developers and gamers, there is no doubt that this is a good opportunity to introduce introduced a new sequel, but Capcom plans to release a trailer just a few days before Tokyo Game Show.​

The Resident Evil website has been changed to a blank white screen with only the word “OK” in the top left corner. The same thing happened when Resident Evil 2 remade. Through a tool to get thumbnails from YouTube videos, the Gematsu site was able to get some images from the trailer of this new game, including hints for a 4-player co-op gameplay. From these images, many players believe that PROJECT RESISTANCE will belong to the Resident Evil Outbreak series. This series, which revolves around the horrific experiences of ordinary people trying to escape the terrifying Raccoon City, currently includes 2 games and both support co-op mode.​
