This article guides and summarizes the best drops in Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk map, Activision’s 150-player battle royale game.
Activision’s ambitions to enter the Battle Royale market begin this March 10. And now that we somewhat know how Warzone plays, many people will be wondering what is the best landing location in the Verdansk map.
This is a new map that is very different from Call of Duty: Blackout, the mode included in Black Ops 4. Of course, Verdansk will have some better drops than others. Hopefully with this guide, you’ll find the best starter gear and what to expect when you get here.
Before we start, let’s take a look at the entire map.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk Map
The best drops in Call of Duty: Warzone
Verdansk International Airport
Let’s start with the largest location of the Warzone map – the airport located in Western Verdansk.
This is a large area with the best equipment for players. This place has great loot points for you to defend, as well as some places that allow you to jump down and shoot right away.
There are many places to land nearby, like Airport Maintenance, Torsk Bloc, Atlas Superstore, Storage Town, etc.
If there are dozens of people wanting to land at Verdansk International Airport, you always have the option of jumping off the structures near the airport instead of diving straight into it.
In addition to the names mentioned above, you can enter bunkers or air traffic towers, although they do not have many equal items.
Zordaya Prison Complex
From a distance, it looks more like a castle than a prison, especially for those who are jumping for the first time. Early in the game, jumping to the top of one of the towers will give you quite a bit of an advantage. They have a lot of loot and all have ladders to climb down, meaning you will not lose blood to climb down as well as explore other parts.
Here, you can find a variety of transportation – from road to helicopter – as well as Buy Stations (with a shopping icon on the map above). This location may be right below the map, to the southeast, but it has enough loot and vehicles to keep you moving once the circle begins.
Arklov Peak Military Base
Whether you’re a gamer who wants to fight from a distance or in close combat, a good place to check out is Arklov Peak Military Base. As many fans know, this is an expansion from the Arklov Peak map in Multiplayer.
Below, you will notice many players jumping down like me because this is a very popular location, so be careful. Since it’s located next to the mountains, this is a good opportunity for good marksmen, not just shotguns and submachines.
Due to its separate location, this military area doesn’t have much to collect recently. This means your best strategy is to land, loot and be ready to fight from the start. Leaving this area all network will get you off to a great start, but it’s not going to be easy.
Verdansk Stadium
A lot of players have jumped here, but because it is located near the center of the map, it is often stopped by planes. However, this stadium is still a place worth checking out. It is quite challenging.
There are dozens of other interesting little venues in and around the stadium. They are in the list below for you to explore:
- East Gate and Old Plaza
- Fire Station 20
- Fumigation Warehouse
- Great Bridge
- Low Woodland
- Military Checkpoint
- Military Triage Center
- North Gate and Plaza A
- Overpass Parking Plaza REMOVED
- Parking and Plaza EASY
- Parking Plaza OLD
- Plaza B and Park
- South Gate
- Verdansk Center: Acropolis National Arena
- West Gate and Media Gate
In the stadium alone, there are 5 different vehicles available for use and five Buy Stations. That is, if you are looking to spend money, there will be no problem after looting here.
Verdansk Train Station
Verdansk Train Station is the 5th and last place that the article recommends you try. Why? Because there’s a lot going on here.
Like many locations in the Blackout map, the train has many large buildings, plus it has plenty of space for gunfights inside. Not to mention, it has a lot of weapons and items to pick up.
With two Buggy’s ready for you to escape, as well as three Buy Stations and lots of coins to pick up, the station is worth your while in Call of Duty: Warzone. It’s also not the most popular location, so you’ll have a better chance of jumping down here to find what you need for the early game.
Other locations worth mentioning include: Superstore, Lumber, and Gorengard Lumber Yard.
Note that the guide is still new, so don’t limit your exploration. Every place is worth checking out!
