Call of Duty Story Rating – Which is the best version? (Part 1)

The fact that many players have remained loyal to the series’ multiplayer mode since 2007 can make it easy for them to forget that Call of Duty It started out as a single player experience. Those first experiences laid the foundation for the line’s development FPS games Today with more and more blockbusters and new gameplay mechanics.

16. Call of Duty 3
Number 16 on this list is Call of Duty 3. It is the first game in the series that clearly shows the developer’s indifference towards shooters set during both World Wars. In spite of plot of the CoD 3 is still acceptable and the tank control missions are quite interesting, but the game is still very lackluster. Players have only one chance to show off their improvisations in the final defensive battle in the town of Chambois. Call of Duty 3 is a game worth playing if players want to experience all 16 storylines.

15. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Improvements in motion capture and the casting of A-list actors as villains weren’t enough to move this tedious plot higher up the list. The ability to move freely is the highlight of the exosuit, allowing players to experiment with many tactics on the battlefield. While Advanced Warfare initially made good use of the futuristic setting, towards the end of the game, this changed. Namely, all skills accumulated during the player’s play are suddenly removed, forcing them to once again rely on their own reflexes and instincts. In addition to the above rare advantages, Advanced Warfare’s missions are quite “normal” and do not leave much impression on players.

14. Call of Duty: Ghosts
Ghosts may be considered one of the worst Call of Duty releases in recent years, but the main reason is because players favor multiplayer mode and the poor quality zombie mode Extinction. Ghosts is set in an alternate universe where a new world order is established after the Middle East was ravaged by nuclear war. The game tells a realistic story with highlights such as a mission that is considered a precursor to Infinite Warfare, a few unexpected twists and an unfinished ending. The biggest minus lies in the way the character develops throughout the plot.

13. Call of Duty
The game that started it all. Call of Duty has all the features of the old game, from the promotion to some of the gameplay mechanics – it’s the only COD in the series that doesn’t have a healing feature. Call of Duty would have been higher on this list, but the fact that the attack on the Reichstag represents the climax of the game was better represented in World at War (2008) – an FPS great military at the time.
