Call of Duty Season 5 reveals new weapons and maps for Modern Warfare and Warzone

New content in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5

1. The stadium and the train station are now open – Cargo trains start rolling around Verdansk

The stadium and train station have been expanded. Looking for melee combat opportunities is your goal? Seize that opportunity at the stadium. The gate and roof will open up the fights on the field, in the stands and throughout the complex as well as the parking lot.

Would you rather start the encounter in southern Verdansk? Visit the train station now in operation.

Making the list of new battlefields even more complete is the Freight Train, a locomotive that will stop to carry neither the Operator nor the machine. Here are some tips to steer and survive on the Freight Train:

– This locomotive can be an advantageous position for the player as the iron body can withstand many blows. Just beware of other teams trying to party in your cabin.

– Freight Train will destroy everything in front of it. If you’re trying to jump on a train or fight someone near the tracks, consider running away from it or running parallel to it, or climbing onto the top of the train.

– The train has a route around the southwestern region of Verdansk, including the train station area. Consult your Tac Map and research the area to see where the train will pass.

Whether you’re exploring these new areas, head to the Exterior Ascenders of some of Verdansk’s tallest buildings, or stop by a favorite spot to pick up some new weapons that can provide combat abilities potential technique for you and your teammates.

2. ISO SMG and AN-94 Assault Rifle Highlights Season 5 Battle Pass System

– ISO SMG: A precision built 9mm submachine gun with a fast rate of fire. Light, reliable and compact, this is designed for players to control the battlefield at close range.

– AN-94 AR: An advanced 5.45 x 39 mm Russian assault rifle with a unique super discharge feature: The initial shot of an automatic discharge is followed by a second burst time before you feel the recoil. This creates a series of tightly grouped shots that increase the damage significantly.

3. 4 new multiplayer free maps

Season 5 brings 4 new multiplayer maps. The first is Petrov Oil Rig, a 6v6 map that has some great tips that you should consider as follows:

– Path to Success: Learn the inner and outer routes, and the paths in between the 2 spawning areas, the lifeboat station and the docks – along with the central bridge, cafe, oil depot and large drilling rig.
– Line of sight and sniper line: All 3 main lanes run from north to south and have the opportunity to do long range shots or long range combat. Take advantage of the surroundings to earn perfect lines of sight on the map.
– Hide and side attack for CQB: Take shortcuts through structures and multiple routes with SMGs and ARs in hand to attack enemies from the side. These weapons also have excellent performance in lane combat, if the provided gear is used.

The other 3 new maps are Suldal Harbor, Verdansk International Airport, and Livestock – a frenzied gunfight map designed for the 6v6 fight later this season.

The Season 5 update has a download size of 49.8 GB for those who already own the full version of Modern Warfare and Warzone has updated to the latest version. Players can also choose to uninstall/remove other data packs if no longer needed to reduce the overall file size.
