Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Beta test date revealed

During the live broadcast about Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch confirmed that beta stage of the game will take place on PS4 starting October 8. Timeframes in the beta of the game Black Ops Cold War will closely resemble Call of Duty. The first beta sessions will only be available to players who have pre-ordered the game on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Time trials Black Ops Cold War will take place over two weekends with a total of ten days, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursdays.

The tentative beta schedule is as follows:​

The first beta period exclusively for PlayStation 4 players, runs from October 8 to October 12.​

Users who pre-order Black Ops Cold War on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 can join the two-day beta on October 8 and 9.​

All PS4 players can test the title for free from October 10 to October 12. Users in certain countries need to own PlayStation Plus to participate in the beta.​

The second beta week will run from October 15 to October 19. All PlayStation 4 users can continue to play the free Open Beta during the entire period above.​

During October 15 and October 16, players who pre-order or pre-purchase Black Ops Cold War on Xbox One/Xbox Series X or on PC via Blizzard Battle.net will be granted early access.​

During the final three days of the Open Beta, which runs from October 17 to October 19, all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will be able to test Black Ops Cold War (Players need Xbox Live) Gold for Xbox One and Battle.net account for PC).

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out November 13 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.​
