Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a Battle Royale mode

After weeks of information and predictions, Activision has finally shared information about the latest Call of Duty game, Black Ops 4. Like previous installments, Black Ops 4 features multiple game modes, including Zombies. as usual, but this year’s version will also include a Battle Royale mode.

Called Blackout, the Battle Royale mode pits players against each other to determine who is the last survivor. On the Call of Duty homepage, Activision revealed that Blackout can be played solo or in Teams, similar to Fortnite and PUBG. However, unlike other battle royale games, it will be heavily influenced by previous Black Ops games. Developer Treyarch said they wanted to create a “Black Ops-style” Battle Royale mode and that the game would include elements of the series in the battle royale.

According to Treyarch, the map in Blackout will be the largest map the developer has ever created. Some of its locations are taken from old maps in previous installments, and the player can use weapons and items from previous games, including RC vehicles. Map includes vehicles on land, in the air and at sea. Players can play as Hudson, Reznov, Mason and other characters from the Series.

Activision announced dozens of new details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 during the past event. Along with Blackout, the publisher also talked a lot about the Zombie campaign, which takes place in three special maps and focuses on mysteries. Activision also announced that Black Ops 4 will not have a single-player campaign. Instead, the game will feature solo missions that focus on each of the game’s specialists.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12 – nearly a month earlier than Call of Duty’s annual launch schedule. The PC version will launch exclusively on Blizzard’s Battle.net service. Activision will have a beta for Black Ops 4 before the game officially launches this year. However, the exact information has not been released yet.
