A different version of PS5.
The design of the PS5 has been an extremely popular topic of discussion since the console’s launch on June 11 last year. Although the PS5 was mercilessly mocked at first for its odd design, it seems many people have embraced it. However, there are still people who do not like the new design of PS5, but want to turn this system into their own unique design.
Perhaps the most common gamers complaint about the PS5 is that it doesn’t come in black, which goes against the trend on PS2, PS3 and PS4. However, it is unknown if Sony intends to create a black PS5 version in the future, but it will take a while for them to do this. Without further ado, a modder named Studio Find and Restore recently posted a video of him creating his unique see-through version of the PS5 in a deep blue, reminiscent of the blue Sony used in its marketing activities. But what makes this modded PS5 really stand out is the transparent shield, which makes it easy to see the “interior” of the PS5.
The shield is also complimented by beautiful laser-etched glass featuring the word “PlayStation” written in Japanese and four iconic PlayStation symbols. Other neat details include a nice silver finish to the PS5’s traditional black inner shell and an adjustable RGB string of lights that one would normally find on a Gaming PC. A video of this custom PS5 was shared recently on Reddit, with many people then praising the design of Studio Find and Restore.
