Bombed and blocked, the bitter woman sent thousands of emails threatening to kill the game shop

This is not the first terrorist threat involving anime and the game happens this year. Now, Animate – The famous Japanese game, anime, and manga retailer is also facing a similar problem when a woman sent exactly 3,852 emails with terrorist content to the store. The woman has been detained by the police.

It happened around August when this woman kept sending threatening emails to Animate such as “Instead of Kyoto Animation, it would be much better if you were slaughtered” or “Ready to go to hell anytime Go”. According to the Yomiuri Shimbun, the 34-year-old woman placed an order on Animation’s online store but later canceled the order. In September 2018, she was blacklisted by this sales site.

Perhaps because she was too bitter, she sent a series of terrorist messages, but she probably didn’t expect Animate to conduct an investigation to report it to the police. On charges of intentionally making death threats, the woman was arrested by the police. Fortunately in this case, it was all just a threat and there were no unfortunate consequences.​
