Essentially, the only way players in the same family can own their own islands with full access to the game’s features is to have each person have a Nintendo Switch. Of course, this makes a lot of people feel inhibited, many of them say Animal Crossing: New Horizons 0/10 on Metacritic. Currently, the game’s rating has dropped from 9.1 to 6.3.
