Being “banned” just for drawing a picture of a woman, the female streamer immediately criticized Twitch

The background has been very clear in the past as to what kind of art is infringing Community Principles their – often the ones that show the most body parts – and have not shyly banned the streamer if they exceed the limit.

ShyBear requested Twitch rethink their ban policy, after she was suspended for drawing a woman that she claims doesn’t break the rules.

On January 11, the streamer took to Twitter to complain about her sudden suspension from the platform.

She tweeted to accompany her drawing: “This is what got me a three-day ban on Twitch. Please rethink how you do it ban and ban people who really deserve it.”

The drawing can be seen as a sketch of a naked woman standing with her back to her and revealing a few sensitive parts.

This streamer’s ban could be the result of the way she made the title live stream her, as one of her followers pointed out in a reply to the original tweet.

They say: “You can’t even see the drawing on the livestream. Probably because of your livestream title.”

She replied: “I think that’s the problem. But whatever – I described the picture, not myself. You’re allowed to take portraits without exposing too much of your body… It’s barely anything on it.”

The platform’s community guidelines make it clear that excessively revealing art may be allowed in an educational context or for pre-licensed content, in each case subject to additional restrictions.

ShyBear is known for the stream variety in Twitch’s Just Chatting section, where she interacts with viewers by doing activities like drawing, Just Dance games, and hot sauce challenges.​
