With her pretty appearance, Kim Eve is one of the female streamer quite famous on AfreecaTV – app live stream popular in Korea. However, on July 10, Kim Eve unexpectedly left a short notice on Afreeca TV saying, “I’m Kim Eve. I’m sorry for all the trouble I’ve caused. I’ll be off-stream for a while.” Many people speculate that the reason behind this disappearance is due to the recent scandal that she borrowed money from fans to gamble on gambling.
Youtube channel “Gu Jae Yeok” recently uploaded a video with the title: “How can Kim Eve earn 970 million won (850,000 USD ~ 19.5 billion VND)?”. In the video, YouTuber Gu Jae Yeok claimed that Kim Eve asked fans for a loan and transferred the money to her. To make it more convincing, this YouTuber also revealed a recording that the audience sent him to denounce. Specifically, Kim Eve took the initiative to ask viewers if they could lend money or advance money on a credit card to send it to her.
According to YouTuber Gu Jae Yeok, Kim Eve participated in gambling on an app called Bigo Life Greedy and earned 970 million won by doing so. Bigo Life Greedy is an application run by a company based in Singapore that allows users to smash money to gamble.

Kim Eve once donated 75 million won ($65,000) to a streamer nameless and as speculated by Gu Jae Yeok, this is her way of trying to disperse money to avoid suspicion. In response, Kim Eve affirmed that she did not gamble and that the above donation was simply because the streamer was cheated, so she lent it. Although the truth of the story is not clear, Kim Eve off-stream is real and the recording asking for a loan seems to be true as well.
