Assassin’s Creed Valhalla revealed many years ago? It’s all just a coincidence

Although Ubisoft only officially announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla last week, the title was unofficially revealed more than a year ago through a “Easter Eggs” in The Division 2. It’s a poster set in the Nordic setting of Assassin’s Creed with the words “Valhalla”. The publisher said the above incident was just a complete coincidence.

Story director Darby McDevitt told Stevivor that “it was because The Division was made in Sweden and they wanted to put some of their own color in The Division 2. The artist just wanted to add details. about our Nordic culture. And that has nothing to do with us.”

The strange thing about The Division 2 poster is that the character in it appears to be holding the Apple of Eden – one of the MacGuffins (characters, objects, or mysteries that play a pivotal role in a movie, story) the heart of the entire Assassin’s Creed series. This is a very strange coincidence indeed.
