Appears the world’s first Blockchain watch, inspired by Cyberpunk 2077

The T-2077 is the world’s first Blockchain watch.

Celebrating the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red recently teamed up with Blonie Watches to release an extremely special wristwatch. Called the T-2077, it will be the world’s first watch to incorporate blockchain technology.

According to CD Projekt Red, the T-2077 is a limited edition with extremely limited numbers. Only lucky gamers can buy this watch with the manufacturer’s list price of $499 (~ nearly 12 million VND). The T-2077 has a case and band made of grade 2 pure titanium. The digital display is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. This watch is water resistant up to 5 atm or 50m.

The special thing that makes the T-2077 different from other watches is the fact that it is combined with blockchain blockchain technology. Each T-2077 when shipped will be attached to a smart contract (Smart Contract). A digital certificate of authenticity for each T-2077 will exist as an NFT and is protected and managed by the Arianee company. This technical certification will ensure uniqueness and reduce the risk of counterfeiting for each T-2077.

Another sideline, CD Projekt Red is working on an expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 and promises to bring a more perfect gaming experience to the gaming community. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game are slated to launch in Q1 2022.
