Apex Legends player refuses to shoot down a disconnected opponent in a $2 million tournament

Fan Apex Legends showed respect and heaped praise for the team’s player Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen TSM following a call for teammates not to shoot disconnected opponents during a battle royale match of the ALGS Championship. Dosen spotted his opponent standing motionless on the field and decided not to shoot him because he realized they could potentially lose connection or crash the game.

Championship Apex Legends Global Series 2022 takes place from July 7 to 10 with a total prize pool of $2 million. Team TSM got off to a rough start in their draw, so a single point is valuable to this team. However, when he discovered that the opponent was standing still, Dosen almost immediately declared: “This person is dead”. He then continued to tell his teammates, “Brothers, don’t shoot it, don’t shoot, it’s dead.”

In the clip that captures the moment, the TSM players look at their teammates nervously and try to determine what they should do. But Dosen is adamant: “He is 100% out or down. Don’t shoot, it’s Scarz” – one of TSM’s remarkable head-to-head teams. In the end, TSM decided to back off, Dosen sliding into a nearby building when someone fired a gun in his direction. Dosen’s actions helped both TSM and Scarz reach the next round of the ALGS Championship.
