Apex Legends: Best ways to get hackers out of rank

Hackers continue to be a big problem in Apex Legends, and Respawn Entertainment will have to find a way to get rid of them sooner or later.

Apex Legends Season 2 brought a lot of new content and changes to its battle royale title, but the developer failed to fix the most important problem: hackers.

Specifically, the new Ranked Leagues mode makes more hackers appear, to try to get high rank.

Players from all over the world are constantly complaining about this problem on social media with Reddit, to the point that one European gamer said he “can’t play”.

“Most of the games I play have hackers; there was more than one hacker in the last match,” one user wrote. “Basically, playing at the current Platinum Division level is pretty hopeless in Europe. Apex in Europe at Platinum tier is broken, with more than one hacker per game.”

With this problem in mind, Reddit user ‘Pjeh’ offered a lot of advice to the Respawn developer for them to give it a try.

• Confirm Phone – Adding a way for players to be authenticated when participating in ranked play, or less quality in higher ranks, will limit those who use a secondary account to hack.
• Maximum level to play ranked – The minimum level to play rank at the moment is 10. But if increased to 100 (maximum) to ensure those who have to play a lot to join the rank, then the hackers are at risk of being detected than if you have to plow from the first rank to the maximum level. This can apply to rank from Gold and above.
• Collaboration with FaceIt – FaceIt is one of the famous tournament organizers, having collaborated with CSGO, Battalion 1944, and many other games. Using FaceIt to run ranked will help Apepx detect more hackers.
• Hire your own team to find hackers – Although the game has anti-cheat software, but adding a team of 5 to 10 people to find hackers will solve many more things. The team can go to streaming platforms, like Twitch, and check the streams of high-ranking players for violations.

Of course, we can’t be sure if the above ways will help limit hackers in Apex Legends or not, until they are applied. However, it will somewhat have a positive effect on the game.

Either way, Respawn will definitely find a way to quell the hack as soon as possible, before players gradually switch to other battle royale titles.
