Anime The Witcher drops the bloodiest trailer ever

The animated project serves as a prequel to The Witcher series and is developed by the same production team. The production team chose the animation genre because they believed it was the best way to tell this story and convey what the traditional film genre couldn’t do. In March 2020, screenwriter Beau DeMayo said that the story was not made in live-action form because this film format would create a burden on the production process.
