Within the framework of Netflix’s Geeked Week last Friday, Riot and Netflix published the latest images of Arcane – series anime First full of League of Legends. The trailer somewhat shows us the complicated relationship between two famous champions of League of Legends, Jinx and Vi.
From the trailer, it can be seen that Arcane is set mainly in the technological paradise of Piltover and its “twin” city, Zaun, where technological terrorism remains unchecked. The two cities often clashed with each other, the inhabitants of Zaun did not hesitate to spill onto the streets of Piltover and cause a great deal of chaos.
Arcane’s latest trailer focuses on Jinx – a technology criminal from Zaun. Unexpectedly, however, she is Vi’s sister, one of the best policemen in Piltover. The trailer gives us brief flashbacks of Jinx and Vi’s past. It seems that the love-hate relationship between Jinx and Vi will be at the heart of Arcane, hopefully the film will reveal more about the lives of these two characters.
Arcane is currently produced by Riot Games and Fortiche Productions – the studio has produced many short anime for Riot in the past, including K/DA’s Pop/Stars music video. The film will premiere on Netflix this fall, temporarily it is not clear if any more characters from League of Legends will appear in the film.
