Sneaky announced its future plans to focus on live stream independently, leaving for the first time Cloud9 since joining the group in May 2013.

Sneaky said in a tweet: “I’ve been thinking about this decision for the past month. I think it’s finally time for me to begin my adventure of livestreaming as an independent act.”

“Livestream has always been something I enjoy, being able to have fun showing off my skills, connecting with viewers and having fun being myself.”

Sneaky has been a member of Cloud9 since its inception in the Championship Series. He has been a part of the roster since becoming known as Quantic Gaming and was purchased by Jack Etienne. He was eventually dropped from the active lineup and became a streamer for Cloud9 when he was on the bench.

He will remain a part owner of Cloud9 and will maintain consulting capacity while considering his next steps, which may include a return professional competition if there is a suitable offer.

He added: “This move is not a permanent retirement. I can return to playing professionally because I am still motivated to compete. I just want to give it the best chance and that has to start with a break. “

Sneaky will “hang the mouse” in professional competition for the first time since 2013 until now.

Sneaky went on to say that Cloud9 owner Jack Etienne was trying to find Sneaky a new home on the list. LCSbut could not find Sneaky’s satisfaction and did not stop him from negotiating with any team.
