A Beginner’s Guide to Far Cry 5

If you’ve played a Far Cry game before, you know the chaos each game brings. Far Cry 5 probably took that chaos to the next level since its recent release. But no need to worry! Here are some tips to help you survive in the wilderness of Montana.

Once you’ve completed a few missions on the small island you were originally sent to, you’re free to go anywhere on Far Cry 5’s entire map. However, there will be a few areas where there are areas that are blocked. locked, depending on your current skills or encountering objectionable issues, but in general you’ll be free to explore most of the game’s map.

Peaches will be a great choice for raids, Boomer will be able to automatically locate enemies on your HUD and Cheeseburger is simply a deadly 600kg chunk of meat.

During your play, you will feel a bit “hungry” for skill points. Of course you can get them in many places, but if you only complete the quests, your skill points will be quite limited. But there’s a way to instantly earn tons of skill points: By completing challenges.

Challenges will be listed in your menu. In a nutshell these are the in-game achievements, which reward you with skill points as you complete them, and most of these challenges are fairly easy. Kill 10 people with a pistol? Too simple! As long as you always use a variety of weapons, and keep changing your teammates and skill sets, you should be able to easily do at least a dozen challenges in under an hour.

If you’re wondering where to use your skill points, there’s an option that should be at the top of your list. When you’re just starting out, the game only allows you to carry two guns with you, one of which is a pistol. Quite limited.

But you can easily overcome this limitation with the Additional Holster skill. It’s a pretty “expensive” skill, with 8 skill points to unlock, but if you complete the challenges, you’ll be able to unlock it in a moment.

Earlier, we mentioned defeating a boss before being able to move to a new area. That’s why the next level of this skill will allow you to carry an extra gun, but it requires you to defeat one of Jacob’s lieutenants. So, if you want to be a mobile “armor,” you’ll want to go this route.

You can actually get a helicopter in the first hour of Far Cry 5, as long as you have the funds to own it. But if you’re running low on money and want to get one for yourself, head north of the map. There will be a large portrait of one of your assistants, Adelaide, marking your next destination.

Once there, complete the quest for Adelaide, and you’ll unlock the ability to summon her. She’ll bring with her her favorite helicopter, the Tulip, which you can pick up and use. This is one of the fastest helicopters in the game, equipped with a machine gun, which is very handy.

If you want to unlock the helicopter at the landings around Hope County, complete a quest for Xander, the same place where you found Adelaide. Once that’s done, you’ll have your very own helicopter without spending a dime.

Stealth gameplay will be extremely useful in Far Cry 5, and there will be many skills that will help you defeat enemies without making any noise. If that’s your style of play.

Even if it doesn’t work for you, you should consider buying silencers for your favorite guns. Most guns in the game will support silencers – even the ones you don’t expect. Silencers don’t seem to affect the gun’s range or damage, making them one of the top accessories in the game.

Far Cry Arcade is a rather odd mode that lets you play through hand-crafted levels placed in a variety of bizarre locations. These levels are relatively short, and you can play them in co-op.

Completing missions in Far Cry Arcade mode will increase your rank, as well as earn bonus points and bonuses, and everything will be carried over to your main play. And vice versa, the skills you unlock in the main game can be used in Arcade mode.

These tips should get you off to a pretty good start in Hope County, but if you find yourself a bit overwhelmed by Peggies, feel free and turn the difficulty down a notch in the settings. Easy mode will not affect any rewards or achievements in the game, and it will allow you to be more comfortable in the open world of Far Cry 5.
