If you no longer need to use ReadyBoost or you have upgraded new components for your PC set, you can turn off the ReadyBoost feature by the following way.

Right-click on the USB drive and select Properties. Then select item ReadyBoost then check box Do not use this device. Finally choose Apply then choose OK To confirm. Next, go to the USB drive to check if the file is still there ReadyBoost.sfcache no, if it is, delete it.
