PewDiePie announces break from Youtube

With the community Content Creator in general and Youtuber in particular PewDiePie remains an unbreakable monument. With a huge following of over 100 million and extremely cool videos, PewDiePie became a force on the Internet. Specifically in his latest video, PewDiePie is thinking of taking a break from Youtube in 2020, which is less than 2 weeks away from us. In this video, PewDiePie vehemently criticizes YouTube’s new changes, especially regarding its anti-harassment policy. Accordingly, this policy will prohibit all videos that are “online harassment with hints of violence” as well as “content that mocks others based on protected aspects (such as race, color, gender, age, etc.)”.

PewDiePie believes that the way Youtube does it is completely ineffective and affects the content of many people who do not intend to discriminate against race or color. Many Channels aim to critique other people’s content, helping the community to control negative videos on their own. According to him, Youtube has a system of Creators that are completely serious and can make critical content, even mocking objectionable videos… thereby helping the community to be cleaner. However, with Youtube’s new law, this means that Youtubers who are doing good work will be deprived of that ability.

PewDiePie took the example of a Channel that took advantage of children to make videos. When these videos were taken down, it was not the Youtube operators but the Youtubers who joined hands to attack the Channel. Or the most typical is Logan Paul with the scandal of filming a body in a suicide forest in Japan. It was not Youtube that took down that video, but Logan Paul himself had to take down after receiving huge criticism from the community and other Youtubers. Therefore, with Youtube’s new law, videos that criticize and criticize evil on the Internet will also be mercilessly deleted.
