Twice winning TI, the legendary captain of Team OG is still beautifully “cut off” by Twitch for lying

Johan “n0tail”, the captain and coach of team OG, who made history by leading the team to win TI twice in a row, was suddenly… Twitch banned the airwaves yesterday. The ban period and reason were not disclosed, but according to fans’ speculation, he made offensive and sexist words right on the live broadcast.

It can be said that “n0tail” is the most famous name in the community Dota 2 world. He is one of only five people in his team to win the prestigious championship at The International, and is also an extremely talented coach. With outstanding achievements, n0tail is always the name that is most interested as well as always on the list of players who earn the most money thanks to Esports. However, all that glamor couldn’t get him out of Twitch’s strict policy.

n0tail does not often stream, but each of his livestreams attracts the attention of a large number of fans. His most recent live stream on Christmas Day had hundreds of thousands of viewers, but then, he immediately received a Twitch ban, effective from December 26. The deadline and reason are still not revealed, but many people believe that it is because n0tail had inappropriate words on the stream. According to a user’s post on Reddit, n0tail has repeatedly used offensive words and mentioned “gay” people with sarcasm and insults.

Twitch’s Community Guidelines prohibit discriminatory, harassing, violent, or sexist behavior. So most likely n0tail was banned for this reason. Normally, with the first violation like n0tail, the account will be banned from 24 hours to 1 week depending on the level of violation and if more than 3 times will be banned forever. It’s unclear when n0tail will be able to return to the Twitch stream as no one knows how long his ban will last. Neither n0tail nor the OG team have yet to comment on the matter.​
