World of Horror – Horror game “Junji Ito” is open for testing, don’t play if you don’t want to have a heart attack

Junji Ito and HP Lovecraft are probably already familiar names to horror fans. Inspired by the “bizarre” works of these two great authors, World of Horror Since its announcement, it has attracted the attention of many gamers. The game will officially release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC and Mac OS X later this year, but if players don’t want to wait too long, the good news is that the beta version of World of Horror is available on Steam Early. World of Horror is a pretty special game when it is built on the MS Paint platform, an extremely simple computer graphics application. It seems like a drawback, but this is the highlight of the game, simple drawings and black and white images like comic pages will maximize the imagination of the player. And obviously, the more vague, the more blurred, the more likely it is to do damage to the “fragile heart” of gamers.

The game is set in a ghostly Japanese seaside town in the 1980s. In hospitals, abandoned classrooms, cold apartments, and dark woods, the appearance of illusions appears. Inexplicable and strange phenomena will be a measure of the bravery of even the most stubborn gamers. Is a world of pure chaos, is retribution or hidden behind an extremely terrible conspiracy, no one can predict.

This beta will let players choose one of five characters to solve more than 10 mysteries in the game. Each deciphered secret unravels a series of random encounters with nightmarish characters inspired by the legendary horror works of Junji Ito and HP Lovecraft. Each enemy can bring you physical pain, psychological harm and even death. All is unpredictable because only when this secret is decoded can the player unlock the next events and missions. Every mystery will have multiple endings that only those who survive to the end can uncover them all.
