Call of Duty Warzone hits Twitch viewership record

Number of viewers Warzone above Twitch went up to 357,000 in the first hour after battle royale mode appear. Warzone’s audience has continued to grow to more than 100,000 since then, and has now surpassed 461,000. When considering the release time Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone at 8:00 PDT/11:00 EDT/15:00 GMT on March 10, the number above is an impressive achievement.

New free-to-play mode – also a standalone mode, so players don’t need to own Modern Warfare to participate. Warzone allows up to 150 players at once in solo, doubles, and three-player matches. Matches take place on maps that combine familiar and all-new locations – similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode.
