Setting a record for the number of players, but Doom Eternal was cracked after only a few hours of launch

On Twitch – the world’s largest livestreaming platform, the number of Doom Eternal followers also reached 115,000.​

This achievement has put Doom Eternal in the ranking of 10 games with the highest number of players on Steam at the moment, far ahead of Destiny 2 but still behind GTA 5 and Football Manager 2020. The special thing is that it is twice as high. Doubles the previous version’s record for the number of players online at a time (44,000 people).​

However, gamers have not had time to experience this new FPS, but Doom Eternal has been successfully cracked by hackers. The reason why the game was cracked just a few hours after its release was because Bethesda did not equip Denuvo for the version on the Bethesda Store, although the Steam version still has Denuvo. Although Denuvo often appears helpless against hackers, it can certainly protect the game longer than this.​

Doom Eternal is set on the future earth in 2151, continuing the plot from the previous version. This time the demons from Hell have invaded the earth, the player has the task of destroying all the demons to return peace to the land here. However, everything is destined to be not easy when the demons are getting harder and harder to defeat. Currently Doom Eternal is being released on PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One platforms.​
