As introduced last week, Ghost Recon Breakpoint Episode 2: Deep State Now released and featuring the agent Sam Fisher are from Splinter Cell. Episode 2 offers an adventure featuring eight missions, the Checkmate campaign, and two new Ghost classes. In the Checkmate campaign, players will team up with Sam Fisher to track down The Strategy. This guy is clearly trying to control the drone with mental power and he has also taken his comrade Midas hostage.
Although the first mission is open to all players, the remaining missions of the campaign are only available to Year 1 Pass holders, subscribers Uplay+ and players buy retail games. These people can invite you to play with them, but their friends cannot claim the Splinter Cell themed rewards.
Ubisoft also announced that Year 1 Pass holders and Uplay+ subscribers will get one week early access to two new classes: Engineer and Echelon. The Engineer’s special ability allows the player to summon Defense Drones and send supply planes to help teammates. Echelon can detect enemies through walls with the ability Sonar Vision. This class is also capable of hiding in the dark quite well and can temporarily disable drones with a shock shotgun.
The update also brings the Ghost Experience feature – this is a set of options that can change the way the game is played. This feature includes an option to turn off gear points that turn armor completely into skins. Ghost Experience also replaces weapon bags with only three slots, meaning the weapon the player is holding will be replaced with any weapon they pick up. The current weapon bag will be saved in case the player wants to change the original equipment. In addition, the new feature also allows players to adjust the damage potential, enemy AI difficulty, and other factors.
