Dragon Ball Z Kakarot prepares to offer Beerus pitch to sell onions to Goku

DLC version first of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was revealed (in part) as A New Power Awakes – Part 1and the DLC will send players on a quest to encounter Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7.

Bandai Namco announced that the DLC will bring characters and transformations from Dragon Ball Super, and once in possession of this version, players can access new content from any point in the main plot of the game. Players will need to train with Beerus’ personal martial arts master, Whis, to learn how to transform into a Super Saiyan God and defeat Beerus himself, the new exclusive boss of this DLC.

A New Power Awakes – Part 1 launches this spring and is an available part of the season pass of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Players will also be able to purchase Season 1 alongside Season 2, when that DLC launches later this year according to information from Bandai Namco. The company hasn’t revealed any more details about Season 2, so we’ll have to wait and see if Beerus succumbs or continues his villainous role in the sequel.

As mentioned above, the player can access the DLC from any point in the main story of Kakarot, and can also use the new Super Saiyan God transformation in the main story of the game.
