The factory has only four permanent workers – two manning the assembly line, the other two in charge of the packaging process. Everything else is perfect automatic.

According to the article, the robots of Sony pass away about 30 seconds to produce a machine PS4 fully functional. Four workers oversee the entire production process – two monitor manufacturing, the other two are responsible for product packaging.

One of the plant’s notable achievements is the use of robots to attach wires, tape and other components to the control panel, of which only 26 out of 32 robots can perform this task.

At the moment, it is not clear whether this manufacturing method will be applied to the PS5, but it is very likely that Sony will do the same thanks to the high performance of the robots. Sony has also announced that they are investing heavily in PS4, so the above robots are still very useful.​
