Call of Duty: Warzone makes gamers’ hard drives cry every time they update

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Both have massive patches, and the Season 5 update is no exception. Activision and Infinity Ward confirmed patch size Modern Warfare Season 5 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will make players very uncomfortable.

For PC, Modern Warfare players will have to download 54.2 GB. If you only play Warzone, the download size will decrease a bit, down to 47.4 GB. PlayStation 4 players get a significantly smaller update at 33.9 GB, while Xbox One gamers will need to download 49.3 GB of new content.

Although the developers say that the overall size of Modern Warfare will be smaller after the Season 5 update, the new publisher has confirmed that the above benefit is only available to console players. But PC gamers will need an extra hard drive to be able to play Warfare. Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 and Modern Warfare release date is set for August 5.​
