Booming since late last year, COVID-19 has had a great influence on the lives of people around the world. The epidemic has caused many countries to close schools and switch to online learning, and Poland is no exception. Since March 25 of this year, the government of this country has enforced the implementation of online education and only 5 days later, teachers at Szkola 33 high school in Poznań city used a special way to help improve education. effective in your online lessons.​

It is known that the teachers at this school decided to use VR equipment and games Half-Life: Alyx of the Valve to teach. This school has a total of 6 VR courses for different subjects, then these teaching videos will be shared on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitch or Youtube.​

One of the subjects applying this method is English. The teachers will write English words on the glass available in Half-Life: Alyx, teaches students to familiarize themselves with letters as well as to practice searching for corresponding objects available in the room, such as “radios” or “plants”.​​
