It turns out that Windows 95 contains a secret that no one has discovered for more than 25 years.
It can be said that Windows 95 is one of Microsoft’s most popular products, causing countless people to wait in long lines to buy. The developers of this operating system must have been very proud of it, so they decided to “hide” inside a Windows 95 application to “mark” their work.
Recently, a passionate engineer “hacker” named Albacore dug deep into Windows 95 and discovered that inside IE4 Internet Mail software contains an interesting secret (Easter Egg).
When you open this application, go to the About section, select a file in it and then type “Mortimer”. At this point, you will see a window pop up and automatically run a list containing the names of the developers who created this software, like the credits after a movie is finished.
Up to the time of writing, no one has mentioned this Easter Egg on the Windows 95 wiki page.
If you are curious and want to test it yourself, you can use the Windows 95 version on the browser (here) Please.
