In a lengthy Facebook post, kNgV- disputed the fact that Immortals never said what he was punished for, and said he was allowed to play in place of his coach Rafael “zakk” Fernandes in the CLG match. at the EPICENTER qualifier.

kNgV- reported that when he returned from Malmö with the team, he was refused to return to the US because the Immigration Service discovered that Immortals was paying kNgV- while he was in the US on a tourist visa.

“Zakk and I got up at 3.30, and we ran to the arena. We showed up at 3.40, and, for the first time, we were late. Only 5 minutes late, should have waited a bit so as not to lose the value of the finals… But, rules are rules.

“We were upset about everything and had to hear jokes about being drunk. We wanted to party too, but the team didn’t organize anything that night.

“My reaction at the time was a bit impulsive because it was a blatant slander. We were unfairly criticized.

“Losing a tournament because you overslept? It was horrible, sure, but losing because then going out to drink, is a completely different story.

kNgV- is also open about the uneasy relationship between the organization and the team. He lamented the way Immortals CEO Noah Whinston handled this case in public.

“Obviously our relationship didn’t go well after the Major, we asked for a raise (which didn’t work out), and then there was the signing of horny, which most people disagreed with. ,” he wrote.

“I understand their decision, but in my opinion, it is not the best decision. This team is very strong and we have achieved the best results of our career.

“Counter-Strike has always been my life. I fight very hard to be here. I’ve always had an explosive personality.

“I’m sad about what happened, and hearing we were ‘drunk’ made me lose my temper.

“I made a mistake. But this won’t make me give up hope. The war is not over yet.”

After kNgV-‘s departure, the pair HEN1 and LUCAS1 both requested to leave, forcing Immortals to withdraw from the EPICENTER qualifiers.
