Damage through the body’s limbs, easier to split, adjust the FPS limit, mute other players and many more features will appear in PUBG’s test server.
Following Brendan Greene’s statement that PUBG isn’t ready for esports yet, Bluehole is set to roll out a new improved update. There will be a lot of system improvements in PUBG, specific plans will be announced after this patch airs next week. More details about this update will be revealed soon when it’s available on the test server, here’s what we know:
- Damage mechanism through body limbs will be added (meaning can no longer “block” bullets with hands).
- The option “sharpen graphics” will be added to the settings.
- You can mute (mute) individual teammates in the game.
- Improved color blindness mode.
- Improved map division (easier to control).
- The sound of vehicles will be reduced in first person.
- You can adjust the FPS limit (including the “unlimited” option).
- You can adjust the FPS limit in the game and the FPS limit in the lobby separately.

Updates won’t just stop at improving gameplay. Weather conditions will also return in the “Dynamic Weather” feature. The unpredictable weather change system will change the way you play a lot.
