Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer has left the official FaZe squad after he decided to rest due to fatigue.
The Swedish player said he chose to stop playing for a while after feeling constantly tired in the past time. He said, I needed time to recover as well as regain motivation, so I decided to leave the squad.
This decision comes after olofmeister has been consistently below average recently, averaging only 0.90 ratings across 52 maps at ESL Pro League Season 11 and ESL One: Road to Rio in Europe over the past two months. via.

This marks the second time olofmesiter has chosen to take a long-term break. Before that, he took a break in the first half of 2018 at FaZe. This phase lasted more than 3 months and he missed 5 consecutive LANs, FaZe used Xizt and cromen to replace him during that period.
At the same time, the European squad began to spread. In the end, FaZe chose to bid farewell to his longtime IGL karrigan.
In 2016, olofmeister was also forced to retire from fnatic after sustaining a hand injury that kept him out for more than two months.
It is currently unclear whether FaZe will keep the Swedish international’s vacancy in the squad when he decides to return or if the organization will find a permanent member. Valve’s roster rules will most likely affect this decision, if olofmeister still hasn’t returned before cs_summit 6, the next Regional Major Ranking. The team will lose 20% of the points and that will push FaZe down from 4th to 5th in the European rankings.
FaZe’s squad currently has four people:
Håvard “rain” Nygaard
Nikola “Niko” Kovač
Marcelo “coldzera” David
Helvijs “broky” Saukants
Janko “YNk” Paunovic (coach)
Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer (temporary break)
