Virtus.pro’s super strong lineup is led by no[o]ne and Solo were disbanded immediately. Meanwhile, the Prodigy lineup officially became the main Virtus.pro lineup.
While the Prodigy project was originally intended to develop young talent in the CIS region, the team’s “extraordinary results” during the online season have prompted a rethink of the organization.

“We used to have two strong squads, but at the same time the organization was restricted from participating in tournaments,” said Sergey Glamazda, CEO of VP. “The organization is faced with two difficult choices: continue to upgrade the first squad instead of disband investing in Virtus Pro.Prodigy and trusting the young squad.”
The young VP members acquired hard support Illias Ganeev from Natus Vincere five days ago to complete the lineup. This roster includes some of the brightest and youngest talent, like former Gambit mid player Danil “gpk” Skutin.
VP’s new roster includes Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko, gpk, Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, captain Vitaly “Save-” Melnik and illias.
Although the first line-up was disbanded, the members still have contracts with Virtus.pro. Solo and no[o]ne, who has been playing for VP since 2016, is preparing to form a superstar squad with former teammates RAMZES666 and SumaiL.
“I want to thank the former VP players,” said Gluazda. “Many of them are living legends, their names and victories are written down in club history. Today, we begin a new chapter, with many medals and memorable moments waiting.”
