As a free-to-play title, Fortnite Battle Royale has become a huge success for Epic Games, not only thanks to the record number of players in this mode but also the dedicated support of the development team. Epic Games is constantly releasing new skins for the in-game store. Character skins and seasonal items continue to attract players, and it looks like we’ll have more Easter-themed outfits coming soon.
In the datamine found by TwoEpicBuddies, they revealed on Twitter what they found in the game’s data. The most prominent costumes in this event are the Rabbit Raider and the pickaxe, down to the easter eggs. The screenshot also shows the back blings and backpacks introduced in Season 3, along with an astronaut outfit or character skin that resembles that of the Diablo or Warcraft franchises.

The holiday costumes are not too surprising when Epic often adds festive items to the game. In 2018 alone, Fortnite added Lunar New Year, Valentine, and St.Patrick themed skins. Last year, the Noel event also added new quests and accessories for players to collect in PvE Save the World mode. These items also later appear in the Battle Royale shop.
In addition, Epic also continuously updates Fortnite regularly. Version 3.4 introduces many changes including a new mission direction for PvE mode as well as the removal of the category bar at runtime. Battle Royale finally gets thermonuclear missiles and even reclassified shotguns – reducing tactical shotgun rarity by one while increasing pump shotgun by one. Sniper Shootout v2 will be added to the special event and certainly crossbows and shotguns will be added to the list.
