Fortnite: Battle Royale gamers will now have a locker room to test out new characters in their game.
Redditor __Player1__ shared a tool to render and match 3D characters with Fortnite skins and back bling directly in a web browser.
[OC] I create a tool that lets you check out backbling/outfit combinations in 3D in your browser ! (v. 2.0) (Now with 150+ additional 3D Models) from FortNiteBR
In the video, users can test the tool available on the Fortnite Skin website. You can see the character change to the Straw Ops skin, the game background, and finally a new back bling option in the huge list.
The author says they’ve just added over 150 new models to the engine, which is roughly the same as what’s available in Fortnite. According to an update from October 10, the website says they have a total of more than 95 skins and back blings in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
From a “watch only” tool to “allow to combine separate outfits”
The tool only came out in June. Changelog shows it has evolved from a website that sees separate 3D outfits to mix skins together. Now, people can use this feature before deciding to leave the V-Buck to buy in the Shop.
Fortnite players can also use the website to discover user-generated skins. Fans also brought in images of skin streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Unfortunately, it’s only 2D and can’t work in the map coordinate tool yet.
This tool was not created by Epic Games, so fans need to depend on the website author for updates or hope Epic creates their own virtual change room.
With so many Halloween-themed costumes coming to Fortnite patch 6.02, you should consider using this tool before deciding to buy skins.
