Apex Legends’ ping communication system is a big plus of the game. And now, Fortnite has also developed a similar ping system.
Ever since Respawn Entertainment released Apex Legends, battle royale fans have been raving about the game’s communication system. With the touch of a button, you can look at an object and communicate with your Apex teammates without using a microphone. Now, Fortnite has that ping system, too.
Epic Games just launched the pirate-themed Fortnite Season 8, which includes new locations as well as new transportation. Epic also revealed many secret locations in this update. For now, that’s what fans can expect in the new season. But the most surprising is the ping system similar to Apex Legends.
You can now point to areas or objects in the map and mark them for teammates.
Fortnite: Can I borrow your homework?
Apex: Yeah, just make sure to change it a little

This new system is truly amazing given the time and speed of its development. It hasn’t been long since Apex Legends came out, and now the same ping system is available in Fortnite.
Again, the current Fortnite is largely due to Epic Games borrowing many elements from games like PUBG; they never hesitated. Fortnite continues to be at the top thanks to its constant update of new content, which no other developer has ever caught up with. This is a sign that a game is alive – if that’s what the community wants, why don’t we give it to them now?
Let’s wait and see how Respawn Entertainment reacts. Will Apex Legends continue to grow enough to sustain it in the long run? Or will Fortnite win the way it did with PUBG?
