Choosing the right location on the constantly changing Fortnite map will soon fill your pocket with weapons and ammunition. If you choose wrong, you will be like a fish without water, running around with only a pickaxe in hand and soon someone will shoot you down. So check out these Fortnite loot locations so the latter won’t happen to you.
Season 3 has added new locations on the west side of the map, some of which will feature in this guide – while the east landings are still very popular. In season 4, several locations were destroyed by meteorites, and now the game is covered with the theme of heroes and villains.
Most of the locations below are far from the big namesake locations, largely because those places are inherently full of loot and enemies. Unless you play very well, those places are only suitable for practice rubbing, not ideal for surviving late game.
1. Raid people who have just left the big landing points
If 10 people land in a town, the only survivor will carry the most powerful items. An advantage of avoiding landing in those places is so that after you have your weapons, you can drive to those places to catch surprise attacks on those who are asleep on victory because they think the surroundings are gone. who else. As long as you strike first, with an unexpected advantage, you will win no matter how far the weapon is behind.
2. Jump Later If You Like “The Serene Life”
Many players can’t wait to jump as soon as the bus arrives on the map. That could be to your advantage. If you like to fight early, jump early. If you want to play slow, jump a little late.
3. Jumping far from the flight path of the bus
The farther you land from the bus’s flight path, the lower the chance of meeting an enemy. So if the car’s flight path is on the left side of the map, the right area will be less busy and vice versa. Open your parachute early to fly further (The map is small enough that you can reach most places).
4. If you’re playing solo, head to the backcountry
Playing alone, it is easier to earn loot because it does not have to be divided among teammates. You only need about 1-2 chests to have enough items to fight, but that much divided between 2-4 people is not ideal. So if you’re playing with your friends, choose a location with enough loot for everyone in the party.
5. Remember to look up at the sky
This is a very important thing when you jump down. You need to be mindful of the area you’re aiming for as well as where other players land around you. Looking back and forth in the air to “take attendance”, remember in your mind which area a few people landed. This will make it easier to plan ahead.
And here are 12 stable landing locations that will help you get the win.
Anarchy Acres . West Hostel
Choose one of the two blocks of the motel and then land on the roof, continue to beat the roof to enter. Quickly find chests while keeping an eye on enemies. This place loot is also abundant, maybe enough for a squad.
Truck range southeast of Fatal Fields
This is an ideal place to comfortably open chests without fear of being scrambled. You also have the ability to loot good items. You will meet two more trucks, the taller one can have up to 2 chests. Sometimes the smaller one also has a chest on the top.
Area overlooking Tomato Town
Just south of town there’s a staircase that descends to the cellar and leads you out of town. Stairs usually have 2-3 weapons lying on them, and when you go down the stairs you will probably find a chest.
Be careful in this section as this place is quite popular. If you go down from the top you will see people who have jumped straight into the tunnel, so listen for footsteps. Once you’ve dealt with the enemy, smash the fake wall inside the vault. It’s on the opposite side of the stairs, to the left of the blue car. There is likely to be 1 chest in it.
The advantage of this landing is that you can immediately go up to the ground towards the hill, giving you a panoramic view of Tomato Town. All you need to do now is go hunting.
Northeast Flush Factory Complex
Land directly on the southeast corner of the complex, exactly a chimney and often there is a chest on it.
From there, loot the big building right below that chimney, look around carefully because there may be chests (fortunately, you can find up to 2). Pay attention to the footsteps because this place is quite crowded. Containers and trucks outside will have a few more chests, and normal buildings usually have 1 each.
If you survive from here, you’ll have almost enough gear to last until the end of the game. This place is quite suitable for dancing Duo or Squad instead of having to dance at places with names.
The big tree to the northwest of Wailing Woods
Guaranteed you will have 1-2 chests plus a pretty good location on the map, but you should only jump here when playing solo. Aim for the big tree. That tree will be able to have up to 2 chests if you’re lucky, plus the advantage of being around almost no one.
You then have two options. If you go towards Tomato Town you will have the advantage of terrain, having a panoramic view of the buildings. You can head to the Northeast with 2 houses nearby, one will have a basement.
Season 4 map update adds Risky Reels, just north of the tree. If you are confident then you can go there.
Jade tower in the northeast of the map
This place is old but still worth checking out after the map updates. Landing in the Northeast corner of the map will have a tower that can have up to 3 chests in it (sometimes 4), and nearby to the West there is an ice cream truck that can have 2 more chests. When you land, take advantage of looking at the top of the tower, if you see anything bright, you will know that there is a chest on it.
There is also the possibility of the chest spawning in the position shown below. Since the map was updated, not many people land here unless the bus passes directly in the early game.
After you have looted all the towers, head to the ice cream truck and maybe a few more chests will be waiting for you.
After that, continue to clear the remaining houses in the West.
The Northern Pearl of Salty Springs
Landing in Shifty Shafts is fine, but keep in mind that since it’s like a maze, most of the time you’ll be stuck in 1v1 matches. The best way is to search for weapons while gliding down and land the best one.
But perhaps starting at the two houses west of the mine is the best option. Those two houses usually have 1-2 chests, plus weapons and ammunition. And when you’re done looting, by the time you get to Shifty Shaft, usually the early game battles are over: it’s time to “put down the basket”.
However, many people still do not know the location of the chest at Shifty Shaft. The trick is to stay high above ground and listen for chests.
In the mountains in the west
This place is quite dangerous and you should only jump solo.. There are 3 mountains of varying heights between Tilted Towers and Snobby Shores, and you’ll want to head for the top left-most peak. While falling, look for chests: one may be at the top, and another may be directly below, to the east of the top of the mountain.
In season 4, a rocket launcher was placed on the side of a mountain. This leads to more loot and an easier path to Snobby.
If you jump down and get 2 chests, then you have several options next. South Pleasant Park. If you have plenty of time, you can also drive through Haunted Hills.
The South Houses of Snobby Shores
This place should only be a solo dance, but you will have the choice to continue on to Snobby Shores or not if it is too dangerous. Two houses will have at least 2 chests – don’t forget the basement of the southeast unit.
If you’ve got enough goodies you can head north and catch anyone running out of the Snobby Shores.. If not, head south, along the coast. There will likely be 1 more chest along the way.
Junk Junction’s Southeast Complex
This place is very suitable for Duo to land. Usually there will be 3-4 chests in the houses here. It is recommended to look for the chest from the time of the jump to land on it.
On the way down, look around for roll call for people jumping into Junk Junction and Pleasant Park. If your item is good enough, you should take the lead to beat them up.
Tilted Towers’ West Soccer Field
Tilted Towers is always crowded, and unless you have good skills, there is a high chance that you will fall very soon. A good alternative is located on the west side, where the houses are gathered together and one of them has an indoor soccer field.
There are weapons lying on the field, and chests scattered around. From there, head towards the west building because there are often chests there.
If you think you have enough, you can return to Tilted Towers, or go straight northeast to Loot Lake.
