League of Legends: Classification of equipment in the Arena of Truth

Riot’s Teamfight Tactics mode is still very new. The meta is being shaped and bugs with hotfixes are constantly being updated making ranking something extremely difficult. But there are a few exceptions that allow us to estimate the strength of the equipment in the Arena of Truth.

The ranking tiers are based on multiple criteria, including: pure strength, versatility, and power in combination.

Level S (Investment recommended)

Iron Solari Necklace

These are top-of-the-line equipment and are incredibly powerful for completely different reasons. These equipment can be suitable for a lot of squads and champions.

With Shojin Spear, this is an extremely versatile item. It helps champions like Lulu, Pyke or Aurelion Sol become surprisingly strong. For champions with strong skills and stable attacks, this is the most suitable equipment.

The dual sword magic dance is also a good item. It is very strong in the current meta, especially when you have to face Assassins. Ghost dance double sword will completely block critical hits and you can equip it for your tanker or the key generals you have. If Gnar or Garen have this item, you will beat all opponents. Or you can use it to increase Draven’s survivability.

Natural armor is clearly the first choice. Not so good in the early game, but in the later game, Natural Armor will give you a huge advantage. A versatile item that allows you to add a champion to your squad.

The Iron Solari necklace isn’t really that good, and is a standalone item. But if you attach three Iron Solari to a champion with 6 Wizards, it will be a great item.

The items in this group are not the best, but they are still well worth the investment.

Demon Book Morello would be at S rank if it wasn’t nerfed, but that doesn’t mean Morello is weak. Although it has reduced stats and is no longer so powerful, it is still very strong when equipped on certain champions. With the effect of not allowing enemies to heal, this is a good item to counter Nidalee and Draven.

Cannons are great for champions like Draven, Tristana, Vayne, Volibear, and Nidalee. Equipment will help these generals double their attack range so that they can own a safe standing position in the back row. And this is a great item to counter the Demon Dance of the Twin Swords.

Ice Heart is a very suitable item for the current meta. This item will reduce the power of the Assassin and can withstand heavy carry like Draven or Tristana. And an Ice Heart for your key tanker will be a great thing.

The great python ax is very interesting when in the right races. With the ability to deal damage, although not too good, this item is still very powerful in some cases.

Dragon’s Claw is an underrated item. In the right game, this item will become extremely powerful. With a bonus % of magic resistance, this is an item that hardens the Witch squad. Gnar with Dragon’s Claw will create a monster that is both beefy and full of damage. And when combined with the two-sword Demon Dance, this is like an immortal spell for a general.

Zeke Storm Capacitor used to be the most powerful item in the game, but now it has been nerfed. Even so, this item is still strong, especially when you are building a squad that needs Attack Speed.

Wind sword is a pretty basic equipment. It simply knocks an enemy into the air at the start of the round. The randomness of this item makes it not so great, but if you can choose the angle for the item properly, you can hit the target you need to hit. If you want to stop a Pyke from jumping at you, or an Aurelion Sol, the Wind Sword is the right item to do it.

Blood sword is a picky item, but if placed on the right champion, it is a formidable item. With Draven, the Blood Sword helps him deal tons of damage and heal a lot.

The infinity sword is also a situational item. Only works well on a few champions, or Assassins. But it is not the best item when compared to the above items.

Thorn armor, needless to say too much, this is a 100% counter-equipment for formations that deal a lot of physical damage, especially Assassins. And this is a suitable equipment for your upper tank.

Ỷ Heavenly Sword is an unlucky item. Works well on champions with high attack speed and can also be good for Assassins, but not the best choice.

Warmog’s armor is a pretty powerful item. However, there are a lot of better gear than just adding health.

Statikk Electric Knife is a great item in the early game, and weakens in the late game. The meager amount of damage will render it useless and wasteful.

As a pure damage item, the Rabadon Sorcerer’s Hat is great. Extremely suitable for Witch champions or champions with magic damage skills. Although it is a strong item, it is not worth pairing because there are much better equipment.

All of these items are extremely weak.

Silence is also pretty good, but it just doesn’t seem to be enough. If it gets a health boost, then its rank will probably go up.

The lightning crossbow also had its time to shine. But it has just been nerfed and now has become extremely faint. You can still use the Lightning Crossbow but it won’t be the best item to use.

These equipment are not worth using. They do not bring you any effect. Avoid them as far as possible.
