PUBG PC prepares Big Update 4.1, Erangel makeover with a series of changes

1. Erangel complete makeover

For the majority of PUBG gamers who have come to the game since the first days of beta, the Erangel island map is now like a house forever kept in the heart of every gamer. CEO Dr. Jang emphasized that it is time to return to that house. And to pull gamers back to this first map, PUBG Corp has had an upgrade to help Erangel completely transform.

Improved graphics, redesigned all areas, every detail from houses, trees to rocky mountains or rivers becomes lifelike. Many familiar landmarks will now be completely different from every fan’s memory, Erangel is an old bottle filled with new wine that will continue to become an uncompromising battlefield once again.

Along with many other changes

– Change the terrain of many areas, add many new types of objects to the game. Moving around, taking advantage of the terrain and tactical thinking will be much different.

– Added trenches, bomb craters, camouflage nets and rusty tanks as signs of historical wars.

– Added a number of locations on the shoreline, barricades, and broken cannons. Now these beach areas will not be too much of a fear because of the emptiness where there is no hiding place like before. The water ripple effect becomes much clearer and more beautiful.

– In addition, based on some changed feedback from test players, PUBG Corp has also reduced the density of grass as well as the color of the grass is somewhat lighter. The overall lighting is reduced to create a more intense battle atmosphere.

2. Survival Pass season 4 called Aftermath

Inspired by the history of the island of Erangel, Survival Pass season 4 will bring together the past and present with over 100 unlockable rewards including brand new outfits and gun skins that players can get. through leveling up and doing quests.

This season’s Survival Pass adds a Cooperative mission system, forcing players to participate in cooperative missions with teammates to complete and receive rewards. In addition, the “Change Mission” feature has also been improved, allowing players to use BP to change missions more than before, making it easier for them to find the right task to complete, more specifically:

– Players can change up to 3 daily missions for free. In addition, weekly quests are now subject to change.

– Players after completing all 3 missions of the day can use 1500 BP to refresh the day mission and complete it again.

– When unlocking new rewards, players can directly jump to the “Character customization” interface instead of having to manipulate cumbersome as before.

3. Survival title system season 4

The brand new Survival title system with hundreds of valuable rewards will be updated as soon as version 4.1 is released. Survival points will be significantly increased when playing Erangel, Miramar and Vikendi maps. This is to make the Survival point system more fair on all maps.

4. Gameplay Changes

In PUBG season 4, the weapon system and transportation will be greatly rebalanced. This is the first time PUBG has adjusted the balance for not only weapons and items but also vehicles. Weapons, items, and vehicles will also be more balanced in terms of spawn rate in a match.

5. UI/UX changes

The redesigned “Character Customizer”, “Shop” and “Weapon Mastery” interfaces make them easier to use and more friendly to the individual user’s experience. During the match, when the player follows the map, the icon of the plane on the map will continuously change according to the player’s map zoom ratio.

Emoticon wheel has also been edited from the center of the screen to the right and removed the effect of blurring the surrounding screen, reduced from 12 emotes to 8, revised order, , added arrows to indicate mouse direction the center part as well as improving the responsiveness of the mouse to the wheel. 6. Updated matchmaking system – Matchmaking

7. Other Updates
