9 annoying things PS4 and PS4 Pro players

The PlayStation 4 is a great machine, but by no means is it perfect. Here are 10 things that Sony should consider modifying.

PS4 is now more than 4 years old. At the present time, PS4 has proven itself to be the leader in the gaming console market, ahead of its competitors. Sony is also a leader in supporting third-party game developers to create their own exclusive games. In other words, this is a great console for gamers. If you can only buy one console, the PS4 should be your first choice.

However, it is not the most perfect machine. There are still many, many problems with the system and the way that Sony handles it. Here is a list of 10 things that Sony should fix:

1 Hardware deficiencies in PS4 Pro

We’re not here comparing the ‘weaker’ PS4 Pro to the Xbox One X – the PS4 Pro came out over a year ago and is $100 cheaper, obviously it’s just as good! But with the ‘Pro’ version, it seems that the PS4 Pro is still not up to the quality. The fan, for example, is very noisy when trying to dissipate heat – we understand that heat needs to escape, but the Xbox One X is more powerful, smaller, and quieter. Surely Sony can come up with a better solution? And let’s not talk about the fact that Sony doesn’t have a UHD 4K Bluray player – even the Xbox One S does!

2. Block save games on Cloud

At this point, the only reason I’m still subscribing to PS Plus isn’t because I’m interested in the monthly ‘free’ game or online mode – but because of the basic feature that allows you to backup your save data. to the cloud (cloud). While Xbox is completely free, but with PS, we have to pay PS Plus to be able to own this function. Even worse, the storage in PS Plus is limited, while Xbox is unlimited. Why is that Sony?

3. Deny of third-party services

Sony shouldn’t have represented players on their own – but they did. While Xbox players can enjoy third-party services like EA Access, Sony doesn’t allow that service on PS4. And why? EA has publicly attacked Sony on the matter. Obviously Sony does this to make sure their PS Now streaming service becomes more eye-catching, when there is no competitor EA Access next to it. Unfortunately, the PS Now service is so bad now, and it is preventing the new experience from coming to PS users.

4. Connect with other systems

For a long time, Sony thought they were the good guys who would always support the game mode with other systems if Microsoft didn’t block Xbox Live. Then Microsoft opened the gate to support this feature and called Sony a ‘slash’. Over the past year and a half, more and more games support co-play on multiple platforms. First between Xbox and PC, then between Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch. Sony and PS4 are out of the game because Sony refuses to play with the brothers. That is arrogant.

5. Cashback for digital games [Digital]

Steam has a refund feature for those who buy the digital version. However, what if you bought the game on PSN and played it for a minute and didn’t like it? You cannot refund. The game is yours for life. Never think about pre-ordering the game on PSN – could it be a second Andromeda, No Man’s Sky or Battlefront 2? 6. Compatible with old games

There was a time when Sony was famous in the gaming community for its compatibility with games on their old systems. PS2 is compatible with PS1. PS3 was initially compatible with PS1 and PS2, then only PS1 and part PS2. PS Vita used to be compatible with PSP digital games, as well as PS1. PS4… is not compatible with any older PlayStation systems. It’s not necessarily incompatible with older PlayStation games, but you’ll need to re-purchase digital versions of the PS2 games you bought on your PS3 if you want to play them on PS4. Sony, even Nintendo keeps their old games across multiple platforms!

7. Mods

Sony upset Bethesda and a lot of gamers when they decided not to support mods on PS4. Although Sony later made a concession, the PS4 mod support was so limited that it was better not to have it. The capacity limit on PS4 has killed the modding community on PS4 – try running Fallout 4 on PS4 and Xbox One and compare the number of mods on the 2 platforms!

8. Let us change PSN IDs

Sony, some of us have been creating PSN accounts since 2006 – when we were only 15 years old, and thought xXLinkinParkXx was a cool username. But it’s not 2006 anymore, it’s 2017 sir, we’re all grown up, and we want to change our display name without losing Trophies, Friends Lists and digital transactions. Even Nintendo supports this feature – so why shouldn’t we? Everyone is stuck with that PSN ID once created. This is definitely one of the issues that Sony needs to rethink.

9. Light on the handle

On the PS4 controller, there is a silly LED light. It’s there. Obviously there’s a reason for it, because that’s how the PS Camera knows where your controller is when you’re playing PSVR games. Okay, it’s fine. It’s there, no one is asking you to take it out. But at least give us the feature to turn off the light!! I don’t play VR games – I don’t care about the low battery signal on my controller – Sony now allows us to dim it, but can’t turn it off completely, which is stubborn. This is not a fix, but just adding a feature to turn off the light on the handle.
