The latest update every 2 weeks of the 7.09 system in Dota 2 is on the air, although it is small, but it brings many important changes to the gold for the supports.
Tango is now back to patch 6.55 (patch of 2008). With the amount of Tango reduced to 3, players have to spend more money in sharing Tango, and offlanes have to spend more money to stay in lane.
Couriers become cheaper, making position 5 supports more comfortable. Currently, support has an extra 125 gold to spend (35 if support decides to buy 2 sets of Tango to support mid and carry)

Additionally, this Feb. 15th update also fixes bounty runes (now giving 40 gold to all heroes, instead of 100 gold for picked heroes) and jungle creep stacking (bonus extra gold bonus). It can be seen that the life of support becomes brighter.
Here is the full update of patch 7.09 dated February 15, 2018:
- Courier price reduced from 200 to 50
- Game start gold reduced from 625 to 600
- Tango now has 3 charges and costs 90 gold
- Runes start giving 40 gold to all heroes instead of 100 gold to heroes picking it up (first bounty runes will look slightly different from later bounty runes)
- Clearing the jungle creeps stack gives 15% more gold to the hero that stacks the creeps. There will be no bonus gold if the stack is cleared by the opponent or the hero that stacked (Adds a new sound when the stack succeeds. Stacked jungle creeps will have the hero’s buff icon to help stack)
- Tier 1 turrets in mid lane are now closer to the river
- Removed a tree in the radiant jungle (located on the top right of the healing/mana shrine near the ancient field)
- Range creeps attack distance reduced from 800 to 600
