5 Heroes that can replace Druid in Hearthstone

Love it or hate it, hero avatars are already a part of Hearthstone. These heroes are just for decoration (adding new avatars and dialogue) not changing the gameplay in any way and can be unlocked in many ways. Here are the current replacement heroes (including how to get them):

• Magni (Warrior), Alleria (Hunter), and Medivh (Mage) can only be purchased in the shop for $9.99.
• Khadgar (Mage sold for $4.99 during World Wildlife Fund event.
• Maiev (Rogue) is unlocked through a special quest that new players can get by playing Standard games.
• Morgl (Shaman) can be obtained through the Recruit a Friend system.
• Lady Liadrin (Paladin) can be unlocked by bringing a World of Warcraft character to level 20.
• Tyrande (Priest) is available to Twitch Prime members only.
• Prince Arthas (Paladin) is rewarded for winning the quest Knights of the Frozen Throne with all 9 classes.
• The Nemsy Necrofizzle (Warlock) can be unlocked by attending a Fireside Tavern Gathering.

Did you notice anything? The only class that’s completely forgotten is the druid… still doesn’t have a replacement hero. Therefore, here is a list of predicted replacement druid heroes:

Topping the list of predictions and requests is Hamuul Runenotem. In World of Warcraft, Hamuul is the Archdruid of Thunder Bluff and a respected patriarch of the Tauren race. If Blizzard chooses Hamuul as a replacement for the Druid class, it will be the first time a Tauren has been chosen as a Hero in Hearthstone.

In World of Warcraft, Hamuul is the first Taurent druid in nearly 20 generations, so why not pick Tauren as the hero first? Being a Taurent means that the avatar will be very different from Malfurion (Malfurion is Hamuul’s teacher again). This will be a big plus for Hamuul to be selected. Fans all want variety in heroes. A lot of people feel we have too many humans and elves, so having Taurent would be a great way forward.

Lunara is an interesting character because she was first introduced in Heroes of the Storm before being added in World of Warcraft in the Legion version. She is the goddess of the forest and the first daughter of Cenarius, a familiar character in Hearthstone. She is described as a fierce forest guardian who always uses poison to hurt her opponents.

A lot of fans want to see more male and female options for heroes. This may help Lunara be favored even though her history is not as extensive as the other characters on this list. Currently, Rogue, Warrior, and Shaman all have only one gender. Mages. Hunter, Paladin, Priest and Warlock all have male and female avatars.

Most of us already know this character too well because Fandral is always in the game! Fandral Staghelm is a legendary druid card that first appeared in the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion. Of course, Blizzard certainly won’t take a hero from a Minion-listed character. This may or may not be true. Medivh is both a minion and a replacement for the Mage class, so this has been done before. Whether it happens again, depends on everyone’s decision. For those unfamiliar with the plot, here’s a bit of character history: Fandral is completely against Hamuul becoming a druid because Hamuul is a Tauren (Fandral is a nasty person).

Broll Bearmantle is an elf druid from World of Warcraft with amazing abilities. Broll is quite special because the horns have been present since he was born (they are extremely rare and are what determines his immense strength). Because of this trait, however, if Broll is chosen, then Blizzard must work carefully to distinguish Malfurion (who also has this distinctive trait), especially for Hearthstone fans who are unfamiliar with the World of World of Warcraft. One of the cool things about Broll is that he has a lot of high profile friends, whom Hearthstone players are sure to recognize. He is the companion of heroes Valeera and Varian Wrynn. He helped Tyrande rescue his father Malfurion from the Emerald Dream (Malfurion had many followers). And it was reported that Malfurion considered Broll his equal.

Hearthstone has a lot of fun interactions between characters. For example, between Tyrande and Malfurion, the two will have a very special greeting. The Hearthstone team will definitely add easter eggs to the game if they choose Broll as the next druid hero.

Another great choice for the female druid class, Zen’tabra is a World of Warcraft druid trainer. But not only that, she is also a troll! We still don’t have any hero trolls, surely players will like them.

Zen’tabra used to be a witch doctor, before learning about druids in Emerald Dream. She and her witch doctor companions help Vol’jin regain his homeland and defeat the dark Zalazane who caused the witch doctor to lose his powers! We could see this character as a druid hero, possibly alongside the Darkspear-inspired expansion.
